Last words!
Thanks to everyone for helping to celebrate such an amazing changeover event. Major thanks to the work and inspiration of Wendy Taylor, Peter Taylor their family and friend supporters, and the bowling club team!
Our MC Terry Hallett managed the timekeeping, preventing any stragglers! (Nice jacket Terry!)
I am still in awe at all the work that was managed over the year - looking back to complete the presidents annual report - I thought with wonder at all the hours that we have worked in our community, for our community - making a difference. We have all been very busy!

The bowling club members lead by Naomi Pye, provided a wonderful meal of two soups, three roast meats, and vegetables, and two sweets which was enjoyed by all. Bowls suitably licked!
I did have special thanks and certificate of appreciation to:
- Erin Barker - for being a great sounding board and support over the year
- Frank Farnsworth- for his positive "Can do" attitude, and montrous effort with Rotary Art show and Rotary Beats Cycle for Hope
- Michelle Simons- for her inspiration support and ideas, support for Rotary through Arts show HighTea, and Support MND by the Sea
- and of course our very own Ron Millard - "Bonza Backup" award.
Our District Governor (nearly) Ian McKay managed the changover and within a short time President Elect Peter Taylor accepted office of president, along with the presidential chain and the new board were given their pins of office.
Thank you to everyone for your volunteer work over the last 12 months - with Peter at the helm we will be in excellent hands, and I am personally looking forward to a wondeful year.
