President Frank gave a summary of Peter’s involvement with the club since his first induction in 2007 and then in 2017 to 2026. He was the Membership / Public Image Director for six years, responsible for the change in meeting dates. He also under took bulletin editor with his usual flare. And no BBQ worth going to was not without Peter at the hotplate.
Peter and Tania have moved to the Geelong region to be closer to their son’s and make life easier as a FIFO – the drive at the end of the flight is now easier. Living in Portland was the longest time they have spent in one place, 25 years. It was a safe and wonderful place to bring up their sons.
He had a fantastic time in rotary, found it enlightening, great fellowship, challenging - changing some mindsets.
Thank you all.Cheers to the Club.
